Yao Ming, born in shanghai in 1980,is a world famous basketball player.He has been in All-star team for several times.Liu xiang who is also born in shanghai but three years younger than Liu xiang is a world champion in 110- meter hurdling.Both of them like music,But Yao Ming likes listening to the music while Liu xiang likes singing.

龚智超益阳安化人，曾获得2000年悉尼奥运会羽毛球女子单打冠军，1997年苏迪曼杯混合团体赛，冠军中国队主力队员。1998年尤伯杯赛，冠军中国队主力队员。
龚睿娜益阳安化人，1999年在哥本哈根举行的第六届苏迪曼杯暨第11届世界羽毛球锦标赛上，获女子单打第三名。2000年在吉隆坡举行的“尤伯杯”世界女子团体锦标赛上，他作为中国队的主力队员捧回了“尤伯杯”。2001年在第12届世界羽毛球锦标赛上获女子单打冠军。

谌利军益阳安化人，东京奥运会67㎏举重冠军。
文晓燕益阳桃江人，2016年里约残奥会里约奥运会斩获两金一银。2017年7月14日至23日，在英国伦敦举行的第八届世界残疾人田径锦标赛上勇夺金牌。2021年8月29日，在东京残奥会田径女子跳远T37级决赛中，中国选手文晓燕以5米13的成绩获得冠军9月2日，在东京残奥会田径女子100米T37级决赛中夺得金牌，同时打破世界纪录。
